NOV Tuboscope

I am joing Tuboscope as of 5th July 2009.


Tuboscope is a business unit under National Oilwell Varco (NOV) handling all the piping services like Inspection and Coating, and other drill pipe related services.

When I say pipes, it meant drill pipes. They are long huge columns of hollow metal rods that form the external wall when the drilling process is taking place underground. So for those of you who asked if I could help out with your daily plumbering... you guys think too much !! hahaha

Seriously, I think this may not be the cleanest job, but with a great boss and great prospect, this is a career that I will embark myself on; I am pretty sure I will try my very best to learn and love what I am doing.

Getting Hitched... and Procrastination

There has been lotsa things in my 26 years of life that I think I would have direct control over.

But for the affairs of the heart, it is definitely something that confuses me even till now.

This thought started to linger around these days when my colleague has been encouraging me to get hitched soon. He even laments that he doesnt see anything wrong in getting to know people from say the internet or any other source. I totally understood his point about broadening your social circle and I agree with that too. As for internet making frens... maybe not... hahaha

But somehow, this lingering feeling that relationships are so unpredictable that I think I am fearful of it too sometimes... haiiz... dunno y suddenly so emo after this same colleague just reiterate to me the importance of getting hitched.

Perhaps I am just bad at it afterall.

It's my bad habit, never giving up hope until the very last minute. But this time round, I am for sure gonna let it hang there for a while. When only 1 side is trying to make an effort, how to let the project proceed ... ?

"Procrastination kills the day" .... never appreciate this statement until these days.
