Aglio Olio anyone ?
Tried to make Aglio Olio from the remaining spaghetti from the previous Spaghetti making session.
Sizzled some Salmon to provide some flakes for my Aglio Olio... and the whole op ended with me having to smell like a salmon fish... wahahaha
So here goes:
Not so bad, just a little bland... need to add more salt and possibly stock.

Boo's Stunt at Serene Center ...
Had dinner at IKEA yesterdae and Boo came over to tok cock wif me...
Then we decided to go Island Creamery for ice cream... taste fabulous eh... the fruits r fresh, icecream was smooth and the waitress was chio !! kekeke
Anyway fyi, the place is at Serene Center which is somewhere at Upper Bukit Timah Rd (near Coronation Plaza).

3) Only know how to open a mouth and wait for things to happen
4) Dun understand a simple logic that it is not easy to get pple, especially when most of them are not around...

Avram Grant sacked !!
If I were a Chelsea fan, like Jianting claim to be, I would bite tongue and commit suicide tt Ambrovich is the Chairman of Chelsea FC.
WTF is he doing... firing his puppet Mr Grant... he didnt even have a full season to manage the team. Yes, I do not respect Grant tt much cos he kinda worked on the solid foundations of Mourinho... but still he did an adequate job in terms of getting the club to be worthy contenders for BPL title and reached the finals of CL...
Ok so now tt Russian wans a certain maanger who can come in and wave a magic wand and everything is on his table... no wonder he doesnt play football when he was younger... he doesnt even have a football brain to start... wahahahaha
They were supposed to be contenders next season... oh well I take back my words... even if Rijkaard, Eriksson or even Scolari as manager...And not even getting Ronaldhino or Kaka can save them ... At least Liverpool tinkered with players only... the Russian rotated his managers lor... wahahaha
Wat a joke in football and BPL... Man Utd gonna dominate till Ferguson steps down eh...

The Urge to Cook !!!
Accompanied mum to NUH to take a small op on her eyes... before that stayed up late to watch the finals of CL... so yeah I am officially a panda. Then had to rush out for lunch again after sending her back. By the time I woke up from my rest, it was like 1745 already...
Sis is having GP paper tml... mum's condition doesnt permit her to cook... and Dad is well Dad... 8| So...
Suddenly had an urge to cook... so I tot might as well try out something new... so I cooked..... SPAGHETTI !!
It was quite an experience preparing the ingredients... which included chopped garlic, diced onions, ground pork, prawns and even red wine.
And Tadah !!
It could be a little tastier and pleasing to the eye though... need some improvement and I will try it out again... possbibly one day cooking for that someone special...

BPL ReCap - 07/08
Let's tok abt soccer... which i seldom do...
Big four of BPL : Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd.
Man Utd
Worthy European Champions ! Champions in BPL 2 consecutive seasons... wat else can I say abt them ? Strong in attack and defense. Most importantly, despite all the hype abt their attacking style, they possess a hidden ability to grind out results when the going gets tough... Just like the few 1-0 victories they churned out of nothing and no where.
Particularly this season, with Hargreaves and Nani, they added another ability to perform in European competitions. An ultimate team that will beat any team. Meanwhile, Ferguson built on a solid foundations from mentally strong players like Bryan Robson, Steve Bruce, Gary Pallister, Roy Keane, and now Ronaldo, Rooney and even Vidic. Mind you, despite Diego Forlan being a burst in EPL eventually, he too was a mentally tough player in my opinion.
Verdict: Premier League contenders for years to come, with or without Cristiano Ronaldo. Anderson and Nani has shown enough promise to take over in 1-2 seasons.
Arsenal
Whenever Arsene Wenger's side is mentioned, attacking flair would be brought mind. Their fluidity in their passing and execution during their attack is so breath-taking thaking that I would say they are the most exciting and entertaining team in BPL currently.
Personally, Arsenal seemed to have modelled their attacking flair and passing from the Man Utd old days where they played a more passing game in the days of Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke and Cantona. However, somehow, they were unable to replicate the mental strength to grind out results; the mental strength of the players really need polishing, how could a broken ankle of certain Eduardo disrupt the entire team so much ?
Ppl who wanna tok abt the days where Arsenal did won the league... well... they have old boys like Lee Dixon, Nigel Winterburn, Emmanuel Petit, Tony Adams and even Anelka which could grind out results for them when needed. After that, the players that Arsene Wenger seemed to buy are very talented but weak minded players... pple like Reyes, Overmars and even the recent Gallas.
Verdict: Unless Arsenal start grinding out results, they can never be true contenders for the Premier League. And alot would also depend on their collective form next season.
Chelsea
While Arsenal modelled Man Utd's flair, Chelsea replicated the other side - the toughness. Some pple call it boring, well, all I can say is that when Ferguson tried to rebuld the team, he brought in no-nonsense players like Alan Smith and even Vidic. So wat Mourinho was probably doing was that he wanted to heighten the mental strength of the squad before adding flair pieces to try and build a dynasty. However, a certain Russian was unable to wait so long... so well in came Avram Grant.
So now that some pundits are saying that Grant has actually did a good job, well, all I can say is he built on the solid foundations of Mourinho... no respect from me at all !
Verdict: Likely the closet contender to Man Utd for the Premier League next season.
Liverpool
I conclude that Rafa Benitez is an avid CM fan. If not, how else could we find any explanations for his tinkering of players. hahaha
Seriously, I feel that he is more suited to be a manager for a mid-table club which has a high turnover of players. In this way, he would be more effective in his tinkering of the squad. Afterall he is indeed a very shrewd tactician.
Dun pin too much hope on Liverpool though... no matter how well they play next season, once the tinkering starts, so does their descending on the table again..
Verdict: Unless the tinkering stops, even a Torres or a Maradona can't save Liverpool.
So there you have it, my take for this season and next season.

A Gift from Heavens with the Ping Pong balls... u bet !!!
How the Bulls sucked this season really wears me down sometimes... but hey... like a flipping of a coin... lady luck has fallen on them this off season. In case you guys dunno, The Bulls gotten the 1st overall pick from the NBA Draft 2008. Well let me see... their chances of getting this 1st pick is 1.7% ... how cool is that...
Wat's more intriguing is that with the first pick, it looks more and more likely that they will draft Derrick Rose from Memphis. Just check him out... the no. 23 guy in the video:
Mind you, he is supposed to be a PG, who is usually the smallest guy on the court. With him onboard, Ben Gordon is definitely tradable... so might as well trade him man... we r gonna have Derrick Rose now ... the newest Bull's Allstar since Micheal Jordon (conincidentally he is from chicago and wears no.23 too).

Finally had some time to fix up Lu Bu....

I should put Guan Yu on the Red Hare man...seemed nicer I thought... hahaha
Realised my display cupboard is running outta space to house my RTK Gundam Series. So I have decided to clear some space so that I would b able to change the scenes to depict the three factions of Wei, Shu and Wu.
Cant wait for Xiahou Yuan to be out soon...

1 year period long or short... u decide for yourself
"I need to see the other person for 1 yr before I decide if I could be with tt person..."
This statement came from a fren.
I disagree but I dun tink that my fren is wrong to tink this way. Let me say why I disagree first:
1) It's all about being comfortable with the someone. When get together liaoz then decide which direction u guys r heading yeah... 1 yr would be too long for me to maintain a passion for someone who doesnt give a clear indication of where we r heading towards... 2 - 6 months of 暧昧 should be more or less adequate bah... hahaha
2) I understand the reasoning to plan and see the person inside out before going into a commitment. But wat is this commitment ? Marriage ?? Isnt it a little too far to dwell into realms of marriage when they havent get together ?
3) I also agreed to the need to plan... just tt changes never follow these plans.. hahaha let's say my fren really got someone my fren liked, and someone who is willing to wait 1 yr... but... wat if my fren was the one who has a change of heart ?
4) This is a "foolproof measure" to protect oneself... and this gives little consideration(s) to the other party. I mean I dun really know my fren tt well to comment.... so i can only mention it on a superficial level.
As for why I tink my fren is not wrong... well... nobody is wrong to strive for something that he/she tinks is wat he wants... just that are we all so sure wat we wanted all along ?? and are we so sure wat we intend to do is right for ourselves ?
I m not so sure of some things I tot I was supposed to be sure sometimes..... so I rest my case...

2) Drinking - Wine at Denise and liqour at Shin...
3) Job hunting
4) Soccer
5) Bball - first time I felt my tired legs were so heavy... |||
6) School to tie up all outstanding issues on FYP
7) Movies - "What Happens in Vegas" and "Ironman"
I guess it's gotta do with continuing events that I dun really know where to start. In any case, I was a little down last last week..... becos it seemed like perhaps I couldnt get a job that travels... or rather the chances r diminishing hahaha
oh well... life goes on I guess...

Butter Factory - 01052008
Venue : BUTTER FACTORY
Participants : Chang, Grace, Lingz, Keet, KJ and me
Chang's bdae was spent hanging out at Butter Factory.
We initially wanted to go Zouk... but it was f**king crowded... guess the majority of the patrons were outside of the place and having a cool "ZOUK OUT" !!
So in the end we decided to go Butter Factory. I dun really have any comments on the music as it was ok... but I was tipsy le lah at the end of the session. 6 pple drinking a bottle of CHIVAS down in 45 min... wth
So in the end I was targetted lah... and I cleared my alcohol into the toiletbowl... wahahaha... good job guys... first time I actually cannot "tong" so much alcohol... wrong pace ah... drink too fast le... ok enuff of the targetting... next one will be KJ... and coincidentally it will be his bdae celebration... muahahahaha
Which brings me to wat I told lingz that we should stick to one place to hang out so tt we do not have to finish the whole bottle of drink everytime. Otherwise, we can all start to cultivate an extra liver each for future use man... cos I forsee changing it soon arh... kekeke
