Saddam Hussein Executed !!

Our dear Saddam Hussein, the once almighty dictator of post-freedom Iraq, is finally executed thru hanging. Wat a sad way to end his life if you consider his glory days where he could simply grab hold of any woman for some shag or kill anyone at will. A typical brutal example will be the Iraq soccer team which had its players caned and tortured after their failings in competitions. It's like the Stalin days in Communist Russia siah... and it might even be worst !! Can u imagine how scary it is to be kidnapped on the streets and be raped just becos Saddam's son felt like it.... its very very sick.... the atrocities the Hussein family did is not anyone of us who are accustomed to good days can relate too... So in one word... Saddam Hussein Deserve It !!!

Worse still, Saddam wasnt repentent despite on the verge of death. He described all the purging and atrocities as 'a neccessary sacrifice for a bigger course'... i mean wtf man... labelling genocide as a necessacity... disgusting... How about the usage of biological weapons on Iran in the 1980s. Wait... its the USA dealings as well to a certain extent....

USA is always lidat... at the expense of their so-call national security, they would solve the crisis at hand but create more whole new crisis in the future... Weapon of Mass Destruction ? Nah... i tink its a conveneint excuse to prevent Saddam from spurting more secrets abt his old dealings with the White House... the easiest way to nip the problem at the bud... haha

Which brings me back to another point... u reap wat u sow... and that retribution is a very amazing thing... it always hits u when u least expects it.... 很多时候报应不是不到 , 只是时辰未到 ... just look at Saddam hahaha and it will always be so painful.... so to all my fellow frens (in a good way)... just be mindful of wat u guys do k... never know wat u have sown... hahaha

Haha... somemore he wear until so off lidat... Red Umbro England jersey... hello !!?? R u here to watch soccer or dance... Merry Xmas in Keet's house

Merry Xmas everyone !!!

Its been a yr since i joined back my old pals to spend the xmas eve together, and i must say it feels like good old days... just like how chang put it across to me... "its not really healthy to see us often siah.... becos it means u r single... full stop" hahaha

For some reason.... i have always enjoyed the company of these pals... even when they r scolding me or making fun of me... its a sense of familiarity tt they we will be there for one another in times of crisis... haha sounds a little cheesy.... Anyway it was such a pity such good wine got to waste becos we cant open the cork properly... 8( Other than tt, we had the usual xmas foods like log cakes, pizzas and champaigne drinks ... oh my my kouniyaku (i made it all by myself).

But this year the xmas is a little different. Firstly, there is this 'KBing' exercise. Secondly, keet's aunties and uncles were with us at keet's house during the gathering... according to grace his nieces r quite chio (pengz... i know...). And last but not least, we din stayed at keets house after our mj session since i drove. But its not like we minded them at all, haha the feel is kinda same too... its the season to enjoy man...hahaha

Managed to reach home by 6am in the morning... was trying to get some sleep when my parents keep waking me up, each taking turns to call upon me from 9am onwards...wat the hell.... anyway i m getting real sleepy le... to end it off:

MERRY XMAS and HAVE A WONERFUL NEW YR !!

Jack and the Beansprout Anyone ??

Yesterdae was such an eventful day... keet had free tix for a play and we went for it. The title of it was Jack and the Beansprout. Haha... at first i tot it will be some kiddy show... but in fact the play was very well directed and the scripts had the local flavours with its hokkein, chinese and singlish mix... simplly marvellous. Best of all, the play needed the audience to participate haha ... still can recall Jack hinting to everyone "Hello, we need the correct answer for the show to proceed...so should I take the beans or the money (clearly pointing at the beans)"

The play also included familiar icons of the nations... like bringing up the themes like :
Elections - "They always say its coming... but in the end walkover... "
Jack Neo - "Jake Neo, you so stupid !" (Jack Neo is the name of the male lead)
All the Ah Sohs sitting on OSIM new rocking chairs... wahahaha

I particularly liked the Garang Guni haha play-acting out a chinese hostress trying to seduce Jack, and Widow Neo passing 2 jugs of tiger beer to an audience telling him to take care of her "JUGS" ... hahaha

Yeah but i really cant stand the two idiots sitting behind me and chang... wtf are they doing when they actually spilled water onto our backs. Its alright if you made a misjudgement whening drinking water (can we do tt ??) or the play was too funny u spilled the water over from your mouth (yeeeewww.... tt disgusting).... but cant u even apologise for your rude act ? Singaporeans.... Singaporeans.... Singaporeans... we really need to kick these bad traits of our country.... hmmm....

Yeah anyway... its was dinner after the play and we ate at Bugis before leaving for home... its been so busy for me... practically reaching home eveyrday after 10pm... hmmm.... i guess the fun is ending soon and school is starting... oh before that... Xmas is coming...

Merry Christmas to all my friends and blog viewers !!!

Is the 6 pals more Important or the Missing one ??

Just few hours ago... my dear fren was so pissed off by another fren tt he actually placed that person on his "condemn list"... haha

Wat can i say... i dun blame him la... we had initially planned a dinner gathering only for that someone to unable to make it at the last minute....

Anyway... my dear fren was pissed that we tried so hard to accomodate that someone only to be flied the aeroplanes... as usual...hahaha he is also kinda pissed that that someone feels we didnt care abt him/her when we have actually spent so much trouble planning eveyrthing. Well.. lessons learnt:

1) Never accomodate pple who are not interested.
2) Always be ready for aeroplanes.... hahaha
3) Once known, the person is termed "bo sim" and condemned ...haha
4) Forgive and forget, there will always be pple we used to be familiar but slowly fade away...

If you guys wanna know my feelings... well... i feel that although it is really not very courteous to do things lidat... everyone is free to do wat he/she feels is right. Simply put, i just felt blessed that i have 6 good pals for the dinner and i didnt care much abt the missing one.... I also would like to think that it was a last minute emergency (watever it is) that that someone has to adhere to. At the end of the day, we r still frens... just not as close as we used to....

Impressario Experience...

On fri, I accompanied my Hall fren and went for impressario solo audition. My...my... it was a disaster...hahaha

Actually i wasnt nervious from the start till the moment i reached the venue for audition (Li Si Song Music School). Just by sitting and waiting for my turn, i was so nervious tt i kept blabbering dunno wat to my fren... hahaha Anyway, in the end my turn came just when keet and chang arrived to give me 'support'... my whole body was trembling when i went into the classroom where there was a judge.

OMG...the worst thing happened.... my voice started trembling.... and i din finished my song... at the point when the chorus is ending... i heard a "ting" from the bell on the judge's table... haha
I think that was like a very traumatising experience... maybe i shall try the ktv audition instead next yr...haha

Haha but i found out tt keet really wants to be famous.... wahahaha kept teaching me things like poisoning all the pple who are at the audition to boost my chances, wanting to make banner to support me like in SUPERSTAR and etc... hahaha but guys think u all wont have a chance to make banners for me or go on tv le.... haha

Spiritually Loose Anyone ?

Anyone ever heard of someone who is spiritually loose ? Haha... i bet not often... so i shall define this term myself...

Definition: Someone who is spiritually loose has a serious syndrome of "out of sight, out of mind" in r/s. He/She does not grasp his/her own feelings well and only craved for company or fun from others. On top of that, his/her actions contradicts his/her words.

Haha i am sure many pple would have experienced such character of ppl around us. Somehow, i find this trait evident in many of the younger generations of gals (gals who are not out in the society). They are out for fun, trying to experience love but not really understanding the fundamentals behind a r/s. Of course there are exceptions in that some gals are not lidat and there are guys around who are also spiritually-loose, but i kinda feel the general cohort of 'young' gals who have this traits is abundant.

So I shall list 12 signs of a person being spiritually loose:

1) Throwing tantrums and not explaining them to you. Often, they will come out a cock explanation that is out-right obvious is not true.

2) Share secrets with other frens, only for you to be the last to know abt. Unwilling to communicate or open up to you even when you assure him/her that anything is negotiatable.

3) Feeling traumatised when ur parents do some thoughtful stuff(s) for him/her, for example passing her an air purifer when she has serious runny nose and the PSI hitting 160.

4) Trying to drag the r/s with you when there is something really wrong abt him/her. More often than not, his/her attitude will tell you something is wrong. You will do many things for him/her, even coming out with the break-up request.

5) Telling you she suddenly has no feelings for you after a quarrel.

6) (For pple who are away or overseas) Telling you he/she missed you for the first month but not anymore for the second month while you are away.

7) (For pple who are away or overseas) Telling you that he/she is waiting for you to come back to settle some problem, but admitting to you that he/she feels relieved after the separation.

8) Telling you he/she is entitled to like anyone he wants despite not settling the r/s problem at hand.

9) Staying very close to another fren of the opposite sex while admitting that he/she does not like that person. In most cases, he/she admits that the fren is trying to woo him/her.

10) Being rude to ur parents just becos he/she has a mood swing.

11) Throwing away the things you left for him/her in front of you, only to change his/her mind and take it back afterwards.

12) Trying to 'act frenly' with you after the breakup when he/she handled the whole situation like F**K. Often trying to show concern to you while telling you that its just a fren-fren kinda concern.

Anyone know such a person ?? I do... or rather i used to know someone lidat...
That someone betrayed my loyalty... my efforts and most importantly my trust... Keet was saying I am still very sore about the whole string of events, hell yeah !! haha who wouldnt ?

Anyway to end it off, to those pple who are spiitually loose, i only have one phrase for you... your retribution will come someday yeah....hahaha 8)

A Trip down the Memory Lane....

Hey peeps, just came back from Desaru yesterday...

Desaru was alright i guess... nothing much to be fun about though...haha.... the beaches are off to the tourist due to the monsoon season. Basically, all i did was go to the Desaru Fruit Farm and eat fruits. Oh i did get to eat lobsters too... dunno y though...

I also went to see fireflies in Kota Tinggi. I must admit, the whole bushes seemed like xmas trees...haha not bad to watch.... But toking abt the firefly watching, cant stand the Singaporeans sometimes though... the light that the firefly gives off are faint and flickering, so its kinda silly to try to take picture of the whole bush with firefly lights glowing. Worst, some of them actually use torches to shine onto these poor creatures (just like wat our guide said: If you are making love with someone... would you like someone else to shine torch at you ...?? Haha)... i tot Singapore is supposed to be educated and civilised ? Hmmm....

Anyway... this trip did brought back good old memories of my time staying in Kampong...back in the 1980s. OMG... 1980s... i m so old...wahahaha.. Yeah, for you guys who dun know... i used to stay in Jurong Kampong from 1983 till 1990. Even when i have moved to flats, i occasionally visited my beloved kampong.

HanBing will know wat i am saying. In fact, her grandma was my neighbour back then... such a coincidence...hahaha i still remember loitering between the two places (my home and her grandma's home) everyday. There were also the usual leisures like catching spiders... playing with our dogs, playing with my childhood fren , running carefreely around the undergrowths.... and gambling (yes gambling... now you know where i learnt gambling from...haha).

We reared chickens and planted fruits like pineapple, tapioca and even yam. Haha, I am so fortunate to be able to have these kinda experiences... now tt Singapore doesnt have any authentic kampongs around....

Ok peeps...to end this blog i shall show you guys something interesting i took in Desaru:

How often do you get to see an ostrich, turkeys and chickens on the same enclosed area ? Haha Who knows...the big bird might just squash the chickens... It's kinda like an illustration of the evolution of chickens... they used to be so big (like the ostrich)...then reduce in size till be like the turkey (maybe we humans ate their food...haha) and finally to the modern day chicken...wahahaha

Its Really Time to Move On....

Hmmm... yesterday was the first night that i had some good sound sleep since the past 2-3 months. I was dwelled into accusations... bitching... procrastinations... and so on and so on... feeling so tired and exhausted.

But it really felt good that i have let the grievances out of my mind and now i can look forward again. Frens or not... life has to move on man... I will not wait for the apology to come anymore....

Haha for those who knows i am slacking at my desk... dun lidat say me la... i also wanna do work but nobody wanna gimme, i cant find any and 1 1/2 days to the end of my attachment le...

A fren just told me ...its a season of break-ups... dunno how true she is ... but looks kinda feasible to me... pple around me are breaking up and stuff... and i come to think that ppl who are not in society (for eg. not working yet) are generally not ready for any relationships (thats y they call it BGR right ? haha) simply because many fo them dont really know wat they want and need. Yeah Grace dun say we are a bunch of pessimistic guys (me, keet, kj, chang...), we are just being realistic haha.

Oh well i shall end this blog with a few good stuffs:

1) I am going to Desaru with my family this weekend. Its been some time since i have accompanied them on any trip, and hopefully it will be fun and relaxing. Will blog abt the trip when I am back... 8)

2) We are going to have our Xmas party at Fullerton on 17th Dec. Wooohoooo.... just tt i still cant find a proper formal retro outfit for the night. haha wish me luck ppl !!

A Day of Indifference....

If you guys could recall, there has always been these variety shows showing ppl passing messages from the first to the last. More often than not, the messages will always turn out very distorted, if not totally different from the original one.

Duuno if i wanna cry or laugh... din know words can also be distorted to such extent.... i wrote A and the recepient interpret as P ... hahaha so much for the techinical comm modules in school....

I guess communication is very important... so important that without it nothing can go thru smoothly.... haiz.... bad communication plus CHEN JIAN (accumulated misunderstanding) wow wat a superb combi man....

Anyway its not like i care... just bitching again when i am too free at my office desk

A ReCap of My China Attachment

Its been a month since i came back from china, Tianjin from my Industrial Attachment. I must say, its been a been a very meaningful experience for me. Okay, the place was called TEDA (Tianjin Economical Technological Development Area). For some reasons, its just seemed like a very very big Tuas, haha. I am serious.

I was attached to the manufacturing plant of SEW Industrial Gears PTE LTD. The company is enormous man... really...hahaha for once in my life, i get to see 2000 workers under the same facility. blah blah blah... enough of the blabbering abt the techincal stuffs...

Okay wat i learnt from the experience :

1) Chinese ppl sure know how to drink. They drink those Bai Jiu (Rice wine) at almost every meal. For a glimpses of how effective Bai Jiu is... take a look at my colleagues after 3 small cups of it. I could still remember 6 of us (me, 2 colleagues, 2 boss, A GM) finsihing 3 bottles...yes 3 FULL BOTTLES of it...yukes. In fact, i puked twice during that dinner and i literally returned the food Ive eaten that night.I drank Bai Jiu 5 times and puked 4 times while i was in TEDA. Wat to do...chinese just like to drink.

Drinking BAI JIU doesnt give your hangovers no matter how dead drank you were; however, wat is so disgusting abt this wine is that the fermented rice taste will stay in the stomach for 2 to 3 days . Regardless of wat you eat, ur burp will smell of Bai Jiu.....

2) The chinese like to spit. It is so bad that they even spit on tiles in shopping complexes... yukes
And believe me, its a national habit and its unisex hahaha....

3) The chinese talents that Singapore claimed to have attracted are actually 3rd-grade. According to my colleague, he said that the most capable chinese are actually taken away by Communist Party, followed by the next wave of talents that will persue their studies in USA. Then comes the batches that will end up in different parts of the world. Hmmm... interesting insight to the Ah Diongs here... hahaha

4) The world is so bloodly different from studying. The politics, the socialising, the learning are way way different from wat one will get in schools. I know nuts abt gears let alone industrial gears... so i had quite a torrid time trying to figure out the chinese names for the different parts and also to familiarise myself with the industry.

5) I learn to appreciate home where all my frens and family are around. They are the ones that will support me through my worse times.... And finally, i understood the need to get a career and wat kinda person i need to spend my life with. 8)

My IA is ending soon ... 4 days more... wooohoooo....

Back to school soon... gotta study quickly and come out to work man...

Cheers

Postings to come soon !!
