Why my statement?

Today at West Mall... I was approached by a bunch of seemingly lower sec kids asking me to help them buy cigarettes... and I was so appalled by their actions that i gave a "I dun think so ..." (just like how Christopher Lambert did it in MORTAL KOMBAT... haha) statement and just went away...


I mean dont they know that cigarette is bad for health and worst of all it cost money which is most likely not their own earnings ? I mean it's really sad to see them indulge into such adults stuff which they dun even know wat they r getting themselves into....

Kids these days... oh and one more thing... i would have respected them more had they been in street clothes ... but they f**king hell r in uniforms... wah liew.... Trying making up reasons when u end up being caught yeah....

No brains ?? Cannot think ?? Parents never teach ?? Or just plain "life is too good" ??

Wake up ur ideas u cocksters !!!

PS: Maybe too much thingy is on my mind... make me bad mood sometimes...haha. But those youngsters deserve my lashing lah.... haha

Just got back from mahjong session at Lingz house... haven slept the whole day but I really couldnt sleep now that I am back home sitting comfortably on my chair... tt y I am blogging...

1) Wat kinda career is suitable for me....
Switching to Banking ?
Staying in Engineering field ??
Will I be up to it ?

2) FYP lotsa questions marks...
Can I at least do something before my exams ?
Would I be up to the task at hand ?
Will I get an A if I showed that I worked for it... like my prof said ?

3) Studies
Been slacking back then... could I pull up my socks ?
Could I catch up with everything.... ??
Project works ... could they be completed beforehand so that more time can be allocated for exam prep ?


Urgh... just fustrating to think of so many stuff... argh... I will force myself to sleep....

Clowns of EPL

I have 10 min before my next mugging session...... and so I shall blog some guys stuff yeah...



As we all know... EPL 07/08 season just started. One match into the season and I can see a new clown evolving already. He is none other than Tottenham's Anthony Gardner. Why is he a clown... simply put... the goals they he let in as a Central Defender is just absymal... chronic lack of concentration... lack of motivation...watever u say... he is just simply silly playing the way he plays... lucky I m not a Hot Spur fan... if not I will really bite tongue and commit suicide.

Other clowns of EPL:



Mikeal Silvestre and Tim Howard were the seal-clown partnership when they played together in Man Utd. Dun get me wrong, Tim Howard is now a commendable goalkeeper at Everton and the pacy Silvestre is a more than sound back up at the central and left defender slot now. However, I remember vivdly how they were the clowns when they played together when Silvestre was the Central Defender.... haha

Talk abt chronic memory loss... i still remember silvestre rushing to meet a challenge from an opposing player only to suddenly stop and look stunt ... letting his man free... this is clown behaviour lah !!




I must mention Titus Bramble (then at Newcastle) is yet another clown. He is the model example of clown. Clumsy, slow and inefficient as a Central Defender. No wonder he is one of the first batch of players to leave St James Park when Big Sam became the manager. In fact, Gardner is labelled his brother since they are so similar in their defending and being clowns of course... haha Dun get me wrong... Gardner can only surpass this predecessor by trying really hard yeah... hahahaha

But.... the greatest clown (the clown of all clowns) that I am refering to is none other than Martin Jol - Tottenham's manager. Every season he spends so much on players and yet he cannot even break into the Top 4 in EPL. Not to mention that his tactics are very weird and stuff... oh well... there is a bigger clown behind every clown-in-the making yeah... haha Give him 5 more seasons... they will still nto win anything worthwhile yeah... haha

It's Sad ... so Sad... it's a Sad Sad Situation....

I remember always watching on tv serials how the son(s) abandoned their parent(s) once they used them. Din really appreciate it until this thing happened in the family... hmmm ... it's sad... so sad... it's a sad sad situation... and I think my grandma is the most hurt...

I cant help but feel for grandma... if only I could have helped in any way possible. Well... let's see how the situation unfolds yeah...

Which brings me back to my next YC's theory:

"Retribution strikes when one is at his lowest".

Retribution always pile up and will strike a person like lightning when he is at his lowest point in life. Seen many examples and shall not bore u peeps with them.

So for the person who decided to do wat he decided... you will reap wat you sow !!

It's weird to receive sms from someone. Apparently, this person is trying to act frenly with me and my sis. To me, I am damn uncomfortable with the fact that it has to involve my sis... simply becos i dun see the need for this person to do things this way...

In fact, I cannot seem to grasp wat the motives are behind these acts of frenliness... cos I know tt this person doesnt really go all the way to be frenly. What are the underlying motives... I dunno and I dun really care..

It's also saddening becos this person dun really know wat I wanted from the start - An Apology. No matter how this person is going to act frenly with me, deep down inside, I know I wont forgive.... but I have since chose to forget this person totally. Which brings me back to another point - y try to act frenly now ?? 9 months too late ??

I am someone who gives pple lotsa opportunities to realise their mistakes (humans are bound to make mistakes.... making mistakes and admitting and then changing is a virtue i really preach... haha); but once my window closes for him/her, I will forever condemn him.

So that's just me and it's too bad. Although I also know I need to realise tt pple do change in due course... but like I said all along... sorry seems to be the hardest words... I foresee the apology wont be coming.... so will my good memory (if there is any left...) of this person be always gone...

Dinner and Desserts at Suntec - 13082007

Weiyeh, Yulin, Lilin, Yanbing and I went Suntec after lecture to dine at NYDC. Weiyeh and Yulin ordered Pasta while Lilin and me ordered the italian ham baked rice. Dinner was great !!

After which we ended up at DonutFactory for some late evening grabbing of donuts and ended the day at Ben&Jerry for some ice-creams.



We ordered Mango Sorbet, Strawberry&Kiwi Sorbet, Choco Mint, Cookies&Cream, Berry, Cherry, Coffee.

In fact, they treated me since they say that it's a belated for my bdae. Shouldnt have done so lah... should have given me the opportunity to treat them ice creams instead of being opposite... Thanks peeps !!

It was an impromptu outing yeah... Hua Feng jioed us to jalan jalan at Bugis after lecture... haha

We ended up at bugis yeah... but we dun really know where to dine since we have such a large group of ppl and we are on tight budgets ... haha So Jessica suggested an Indoneisan Restaurant - Ayam Penyet. So we dined there and the food was different from the usual chinese cuisine that we chinese would have.



For a start... the chilli is hot but nice... when i mean hot... it means its really very spicy... since i feel that I am someone who can take spicy food. And the prawn crackers were nice too. I like a dish called Gado Gado - peanut paste on ketuputs and veges.

National Day - A day to Celebrate or a day to Ponder ?

Wat better way to start the National Day post than to declare that this is my 101st post on blogspot. Din realise I can be so persistent in writing diaries... let alone blogs.

Enuff of the narcissism, let proceed on to talk abt National Day. Do we really know wats the meaning of National Day actually ?? Why I say this becos it seems to me that NDP has been molded into a festival to many... whether izzit hols or the freebies at the NDP.... As such, I somewhat feel that the idea of National Day has really been distorted.

National Day has become a holiday instead of a day where we Singaporeans should see where we stand on the global front - how we need to remain competitve against other nations and how we could improve our lives better. Come to think of it... we are really vulnerable... a small hiccup in WallStreet cause so much mess in our own SGX Exchange..... I shall not go on to bore you peeps abt the repercussions....

Perhaps our lives are just too good and there was nothing worthwhile from the past(our forefathers) that we could remember. I am not really saying that we should always dwell into the past and stuff... all I am sighing is that NDP seems to be an avenue to showcase our military to others and to flaunt to our people that "yeah we are rich..."

In fact, I find listening to the PM's Rally more important than the firworks at Marina Bay. Oh well... maybe thats just me bah...

I rest my case...

PS: I never watched NDP ; only had a few glimpse while switching channel.... oh i saw the flying kites yeah... nothing special...

Dim Sum Buffet - 03082007

Late entry.

Had Dim Sum buffet at Dragon's Gate at Harbour Front with LJ, MY, Jason and a trio of ladies from SMU. Had some fun making fun of Jason... if I could recall properly. Jason was trying to be funny... asking ppl around us for cakes just becos its my bdae (there r other groups celebrating bdaes)... wah liew... haha

After tt we went to LJ house for mahjiong and i lost 13 bucks on "10c-20c"... hmmm ... they say when u win on the gambling realm ... u lose on the love realm..... so tt means I am going to gain something soon ??

We shall see...


Btw... the events didnt stop there... ended up playing bball at NYP and supper at Chong Pang.

Once again... YC theory holds... which isnt really a good thing izzit ? 8(

Ppl always say I m biased against uni gals (esp Pisceans... haha... which is not really true )... hmmm... I keep trying to convince myself that I will b able find someone I know that can really contradict my theory. Sadly, so far there is none. In fact, I just knew of another example that supports my theory... again.... 8(


Theory 1:

"Uni Gals generally are not mature enuff... be it r/s or doing things"

Theory 2:

"Until one gets into the society and work, she is still a gal and never a woman."


Although my theory hasnt been proven right.... nobody is able to prove me wrong yet... I guess deep down inside I m really starting to lose faith in some ppl. I call them "changing animals"; change is necessary and inevitable at times... but changing for convenience sake is something which I can never accept as an individual. Perhaps this is how anal I can be at times... and it's something which I have to work on to be a 'better' person...


Still... I think my theory is right and will continue to harbour these bias until someone can prove me wrong.

My Bdae Celebration

Chang, Grace, Drey, KJ, Lingz celebrated my bdae by treating me dinner at Waruku Central Mall. The food was scrumptous and the ambience was wonderful... considering we had the view of Clarke Quay as our background.

After the dinner, we intially wanted to go Brewerks for some drinks.... but it turned out the place was full ... so we ended up in CHJMES and had some wine(2005 Riesling) before heading for home.

I mean I understand that she had some problem with my uncle, but tats probably an issue between them and not everyone in the family wat... y have to bear grudges till lidat siah....
