Reaching the end of a phase... Holland V desserts !!!

Hurray !! Exam's officially over !!!

Wooohoooo... but I still have one more presentation before I am officially jobless that is... a littel sian... still waiting for some replies of the applications i sent earlier in the yr... oh well... gotta wait man...

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Straight after exams, I had dinner at Holland V with my clique of frens... we were at Harry's. And I must admit the food there was expensive lah...

To compound to that, we went 2AM DESSERT BAR, which was opened by my fren Janice (yes, she was the runner-up to the competition hosted by Sam Leong if anyone of u guys remembers tt is...). The dessert wine was good. We (or rather me) ordered a PALLISTER ESTATE NOBLE CHARDONNAY 2005 to go with the desserts.

Event: Desserts
Date: 25042008
Location: 2 AM DESSERT BAR
Participants : Me, Chang, Grace, Keet, Drey and Lingz

Prawn Linguini
This dish is basically seafood sphagetti, but it was done very well. But Grace only ordered this dish cos she din had dinner with us earlier... haha

Twix
This dish is chocolate mousse cake with chocolate ice cream - a combination that will tempt any choc lovers... tasted like my fav belgium chocolates. Also, the chocolate icecream was made by themselves i tink... so a must try yeah

Blackberry
Okay, this is the controversial blackberry ice cream with lychee sorbet dessert that I ordered. The waiter explained to me that one is supposed to taste the blackberry ice cream then smell the mint leaves and then eat the ice cream again. Apparently, there was supposed to be a difference in taste, but our taste buds are all quite reatrded i guess... kekeke... cannot tell the difference eh...

Chocolate Tart
This is the signature dish of the bar. Rich melted choc in another chocolate tart. A marvellicious combi definitely... haha

Tiramisu
This is a dessert that I strongly reccomend to you guys. Try it and you will love it !! That is for sweet lovers lah...

Green Tea Cookies
I gotta thank Janice for this dessert. It's complimentary yeah... *winkz* and not on the menu.... The best dessert outta the ones we ordered. The aroma of green tea blended perfectly with the malt sugar. But its a little sticky on the teeth yeah... haha

Definitely a good place for sweet lovers... but its quite an ATAS place ot be in lah... hahaha

PS: Thanks lingz for the pics yeah !!
