A Tragedy that should have not happened !!!

It's very sad to see in the news that 2 young adults died from the recent fire at Hougang flats. Hmmm... really feel for them... its not like they are stupid (like some ppl lamented) u know... it was midnight and they possbiliy wasnt in a clear state of mind u know....

And I feel that the shopkeepers have to bear most of the responsiblities for the fire man... y ?? Yeah yeah yeah... investigations are on the way .... but I watched on TV that in 2003, resident from the vacinity had already voioced concerns over fire hazards due to the occupying of the shops all the way till the corridor... it was even on TV... but did they do anything ?? No...nothing....

One lady, when interviewed by a reporter, can actually remarked, "Erm... I lost 10K in the fire... " Hello !! wake up ur bloody idea man... ur acts of "stupidity" has killed someone and all u can say is ur 10K !!??? The more I hear them talk... the more angry i felt siah...


You know wat... I think these shopkeepers deserve to have their shop burnt yeah... and I would second the idea of confiscating their shops and then charging them in court for the mess they created. This fire could have been prevent like 3 yrs ago and all these pple have skulls that are so thick that all they can think is about themselves. Well done u idiots... u have killed someone from ur convenience !!!

It's a fact that these shopkeepers must bear majority of the blame ... they had indirectly killed someone and this sin will follow them through the rest of their lives....

Hopefully, more stringent rules will stop anymore of such tragedy from happening...
