Lack of respect for the game....

I am never a fan of Lebron's playing style because I think he based alot of his game on his physique - his explosiveness and physical presences to dominate, but I never ever lost respect for him like I did with Eddy "I have a cardio problem" Curry. Reason - Heart !

And I did today when Lebron announced that he is joining Wade and Bosh, like it was reported. Okay, let's put things in perspective shall we:

Whose gonna control the ball ?

Now Heats have 3 All-stars, which is an awesome deal. But if you scrutinise closer, whose gonna control the ball, and eventually the course of the game ? Wade used to do it on a daily basis last few seasons, now he is going to give that all up for a fellow All-Star ? The same applies to Bosh, he has all the touches in the Raptors team, so he will be contented to play a "Garnett" role ?

I mean as great as it sounds, this trio is a bomb waiting to explode. A team cant really have 3 suaperstar players ... wat.... 3 different teams from an original one ? It's like a three-headed snake u know... where r they really heading ?

Lebron's heart for the game

6 years ago, Lebron was drafted as the prodigy of the league - someone who would eventually take over the dominance of NBA like how Jordan, Magic, Kareem and Wilt did... but going to co-exist with 2 superstars, will he ever get a triple double or be as dominant as he used to be ? I highly doubt so seriously...

He disappointed the entire NBA when he choose to be a co-star instead of being the lead actor where he rightfully should be. Is he that desperate really ? He will end up being a good player... but never a great player anymore given his reduced role....

Which ultimately makes me question his heart for the game... his ceiling is skyhigh... yet he chose to stay mid air... what a waste of talents !

Looking ahead...

Sure the Heats would be champion favourites next season... but I anticipate 3 unhappy stars eventually creeping into the team. Besides, he will forever carry the tag of an underacheiver now... even if he grabs the ring that he so longed for...

If it really means to lower oneself to attain a ring like that, I lost a lot of respect for Lebron ! He could have a golden statue all for himself, and yet he choose to stay on the poster with a trio...

It's a sad day for NBA man... to lose a dominant player like that...

And for those who wanna shoot me now, look at this article first... it is exactly what i toked about - Heart !
